CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Stroke Technique Camp
A systematic teaching approach gives swimmers an understanding of stroke development, as well as repetitive skill rehearsal throughout the week. Attention is also paid to starts, turns and streamlining. Swimmers work on core-body exercises to increase body strength and flexibility through a variety of dry-land exercises. Classroom activities include video instruction from current world-class swimmers and coaches, plus individual video review and analysis throughout the week. Group sessions cover topics ranging from nutrition and goal setting to team-building exercises and race/ training strategies.

High Performance Camp
This camp is designed for experienced swimmers who are ready to learn and implement conditioning principles, more effective training components, and technical skill development. Swimmers work on core-body exercises to increase body strength and flexibility through a variety of dry-land exercises. The camp also focuses on goal setting, psychological skills training, race and training strategies, nutrition, and team building principles that will lead to consistent, successful performance.

Coding & Game Design STEAM Summer Camps include: SCRATCH, JavaScript, Python, C# thru Unity.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Through The Learnatory In-School, After-School, Home-School, Weekend, Summer Camps, and online programs, The Learnatory, has served over 12,000 college-bound youth and teens in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City effectively and significantly boost their academic, personal, and career development. Each camper receives a proprietary PEP (Prescribed Educational Plan) for every class they take that states exactly what skills they will learn and documents at the end how well they learned them.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Fire Minnesota is located on 103 acres of forest, wetlands, and prairie. We have lakefront property on Lake Minnewashta with a separate fishing, boating, and swimming areas. Our resident camp features two cabin communities and a lodge; accommodating 220 overnight campers. Additionally, Camp Fire Minnesota features an archery range, high ropes course, low-ropes agility course, garden, climbing wall, giant swing and more.

Our Leadership Program progresses with campers through their teens – from Day Camp Assistant to Counselor in Training to Junior Counselor. Each level of this program includes team-building activities, training and hands-on experience working with and leading younger campers. During the school year, teens continue to meet monthly leading service projects and building leaderships skills in out Teen Outdoor Leaders program.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Koronis is part of Camp Minnesota, a non-profit organization through the United Methodist Church with camps and outdoor ministry opportunities around the state.
Since 1954, Camp Koronis has been dedicated to bringing joy to camper's lives and building their connection with Christ, Community and Creation. We are accredited through the American Camping Association (ACA) and are members of the Christian Camp & Conference Center Association (CCCA).

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Camp Koronis' Staff-in-Training (SIT) program is a leadership development experience for teens who love camp and want to grow spiritually and in their ability to serve in a camp setting. the SIT program includes a weekend of specialized training at our Lake Koronis site, followed by two weeks at Camp Koronis, living in the cabins and helping out with three different camp sessions. SITs are mentored and directed by our SIT leader. Successful SITs will be given preference in hiring for future camp summer staff positions.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Camp Koronis through Camp Minnesota is committed to allowing anyone who wants to attend camp to do so- no camper will be turned away because they can't afford to pay. We provide funds, or “camperships”, to campers who need them most, based on individual and family needs. Our hope is that the individual’s local church, personal funds, and other sources of support will combine with campership support to cover the registration cost for one Camp Minnesota event of the camper’s choice. CAMP FACILITIES: For our onsite camps, we have 3 lodging buildings, including our modern Crosby Lodge with 14 dorm-style rooms with private bathrooms, our Lowry Lodge with 5 dorm-style rooms with shared bathrooms, lounge and woodstove; and our historic Schwyzer Lodge, complete with living room, fireplace and kitchen. Lodging is based on type of camp and numbers of attendees. Room assignments are gender-based.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Audubon Center of the North Woods (ACNW) is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 residential environmental learning center. We are a proud leader in environmental education and renewable energy and are committed to providing lifelong learning experiences to people of all ages. ACNW has been providing environmental and outdoor education programs since 1971. We ‘walk the walk’ in demonstrating environmental stewardship and have implemented a wide variety of renewable energy sources and energy conservation measures. Our focus is on developing an understanding, ethics and responsibility regarding the environment and the role of humans through formal and informal experiences that link nature and humans.

We believe that a healthy environment starts with and is perpetuated by a personal connection to it, and ACNW is and has been committed to that goal for over 40 years. CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert are separated by about 1.5 miles of the water of Lake Hubert, but are just about equal in facilities at each camp. Both camps have two-story, log-style cabins for about 18-21 campers with indoor bathrooms and hot water. Dining halls are large communal buildings centrally located on the camp. Camp Lincoln offers an extremely large athletic field for various events and sporting activities/games, as well as a sand volleyball court, multiple tetherball courts, two basketball courts, 4 tennis courts, and an indoor building for rainy-day activities and skit nights. Camp Lake Hubert offers two smaller athletic fields, two basketball courts, a sand volleyball pit, tetherball courts, four tennis courts, and a smaller, private lake for fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. As both camps are located right on the shores of Lake Hubert, they both offer fully-equipped waterfronts for swimming, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, water games, etc.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert Leadership Training (LT) Program is a two-year leadership development program open to young men and women currently in 10th and 11th grade. Those that are highly motivated, willing to work hard and have a strong desire to develop skills that can be used in camp as well as in their home communities should apply to this program. The LT Experience is divided into Level 1 and Level 2 with each level having its own set of requirements.

At the program’s core is the goal of teaching life skills that translate into preparing young men and women for life outside of camp, i.e., jobs, extracurricular activities, community service work, entrance into college, etc.).

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: True Friends CIT*1 program is a paid personal & social advancement internship where CIT*1s participate as junior staff members with an emphasis on learning and training. The CIT*1 program initially covers all aspects of camp operation then the focus progressively moves to personal advancement through acquiring skills and experience within a cabin and program.

During activities, CIT*1s spend time in cabins discovering to discover how to efficiently coordinate a cabin group, assist with direct care and ensure a quality experience for all participants. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Leadership Training Camp

This leadership training camp gives high-school aged students the tools to succeed and grow in the Christian faith, as well as provide skills to serve as Christian leaders at camp and in the community.

Looking for more hand-on leadership experience than this leadership week? Apply to be a Youth Servant Leader (YSL)! YSL's assist counselors in providing for the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of campers. Leadership Training is mandatory for those applying to serve as a YSL. If you are high-school aged and will be 15 years old by June, you can become a YSL this summer. Get ready to make a difference!

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: We are doing everything we can to assure that every child can attend Camp Omega regardless of economic status. At Skyhawks we go the extra mile to focus on safety, and we have a long-standing proven safety track record and processes to prove it. For example, all Skyhawks Sports camps start and end with our unique safety process called "Gate System and Parking Lot Duty." This process is where coaches come and greet both parents and campers in the parking lot when parents pull up to drop off their children.

Our staff guide the kids onto the field/court and out of harm's way by funneling them into our gate system.
