CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Nageela offers campers ages 5-13 an extraordinary 6-week experience of fun and character growth. Camp Nageela is dedicated to providing your child with a safe and exciting camp program that integrates Jewish values and traditions into daily camp life.

The Camp Nageela experience is comprised of a wealth of activities and specialty programming. Arts & crafts, swimming, basketball, baseball soccer, track & field, and superb field trips are some of the regular activities to go along with those "special days" sprinkled throughout the summer. Our extensive program, experienced on our expansive grounds, provides Nageela campers with the opportunity to develop their skills while experiencing the summer of a lifetime!

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 27 holes of golf along with a full practice range, including a short game area as well as a large practice putting green.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our golf camp is under the direction of Kristin White - Program Director and Zack Anderton - Junior Golf Coordinator. We employ a list of PGA and LPGA instructors along with Certified Instructors. We limit our camps to a 6:1 student to instructor ratio. Junior golfers will not only learn about the game of golf, but also hone their golf skills for our advanced players. We also incorporated games that help to develop their golf skills as well. We include 20 hours of instruction, 5 Days a week.

The Junior Golf Foundation of America's mission is to provide all children the opportunity to learn and play the game of golf. The JGFA focuses on instilling the concept that golf is "More than a Game." This is accomplished through our comprehensive education and development program. Through golf, our purpose is to teach positive life values to our children, including honor, integrity, self-discipline, pride, respect, responsibility and sportsmanship.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 2 dorms, complete with air conditioning and showers, an outdoor pool, a dining hall, outdoor chapel, main lodge for activities and gatherings, a field for sports, and a sand volleyball court. Lake Howell provides a place for canoes and paddleboats.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: San Pedro Catholic Camp is staffed by qualified young men and women who are active in Church ministry and have a deep sense of God in their own lives. All staff members have been screened by the State of Florida, fingerprinted by the Diocese of Orlando, and are well trained for their positions, including certification on working with young people in a safe environment through the American Camp Association.

Overnight and Day Camp participants are offered an opportunity to unplug from distractions and take a step back from everyday life to create important lasting relationships. Our goal is not only to provide a wholesome outdoor life, but to also assist youth in true character and faith formation through the celebration of Mass, daily prayer services, as well as the sacrament of reconciliation.

CAMP FACILITIES: Contained within a 116-acre plot of land, the 6,701-yard, par-70 course is short by golf standards today. However, a $4 million renovation project in 2001 by Jacksonville-based architect Bobby Weed transformed the contour of the landscape, creating a course that is both physically and mentally challenging.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Gator Golf Camp offers an array of daytime activities that include playing golf and instruction, while the evenings offer a variety of entertaining and informative seminars, including a closer look at the mental side of golf. Aspects such as visualization, self-talk, tension, anxiety, and self-doubt will be discussed. We also make time to do some fun activities which may include a trip to the movies, swimming, bowling, or an athletic event.

An interesting feature of the Gator Golf Camp is our Player/Coaches Panel. This is a forum where we will discuss all aspects of collegiate golf. Areas covered will include academic requirements and tournaments.

Gator Golf Camp brings together a great staff of golf coaches, PGA professionals, and University of Florida golf team members to guide the campers on their way to better golf.

* Camp Director, Mark Leon is the Assistant Coach of the Florida Gators Men's Golf Team. Mark is in his 3rd season at Florida coming from his alma mater Penn State.

*Associate Head Women's Golf Coach, Janice Olivencia is in her 8th year at the University of Florida. She is a two time All-American and has spent time on both the LPGA Futures Tour and European Tour. Janice was a member of the Puerto Rico National Golf Team and is fluent in Spanish and English.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: YMCA Camp Winona provides a great traditional, overnight camping experience. We try to balance tradition with the interests of today’s campers by offering fun, exciting and safe activities. There are up to 12 campers and two staff in each cabin surrounding centrally located bathhouses. Our meals are prepared by our camp chefs and served family style in our air conditioned dining hall. Our well-balanced meals include cereal, salad bar and sandwich options for those campers wishing an alternative/supplement to the meal. We are equipped to accommodate food allergies and special dietary needs.

Our Resident Camp provides an exciting, safe community for young people to explore the outdoors, build self-esteem, develop interpersonal skills, create lasting friendships and make incredible memories. * 3Day/2Night Mini Camp (ages 6-8) geared to first time campers.

** Paintball – Campers will learn the basics and be able to participate in our field course and our woods course. Campers will be assigned to paintball for 4 days during the week. ($75)
** High Ropes - We have 5 high elements up to 40 feet above the ground they will be coached to maneuver through. Campers will be assigned to 2 – three hour blocks during the week. ($30)

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: * Two 2-week LIT sessions (ages 15-16).
* One 3-week CIT session (age 17) By approval only with CIT application
* High School Christian Values Camp - rising freshmen thru graduating seniors. Charter bus up to YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly and spend the week with other high school students in way out games and small group learning. Focus is on personal values system.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: YMCA Camp Winona offers year-round possibilities with our Conference and Retreat program. We host churches, youth groups, clubs and organizations, school groups, businesses, family reunions, large picnics, seminars and other events throughout the year. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Learn to surf or improve your surfing skills this Summer Break with Living Water Surf School, presented by Quiksilver and professional surfer William “Skeeter” Zimmerman. Skeeter and his staff of accomplished instructors will help you enjoy and appreciate the ocean and experience the supreme pleasures of The Sport of Kings. Skeeter has shared his passion for surfing and knowledge of the sport with thousands of students during his 12years as a surf instructor. His expertise is strengthened by his friendship with other professional surfers who will make guest appearances at the camp and assist Skeeter and his staff of CPR certified and life guard trained instructors.

Instruction will focus around Ocean Awareness and Surfing Fundamentals. In addition, students will learn firsthand about such topics as waves and tides, marine biology, coastal ecology, and beach profiles. Students may also participate in skimboarding, snorkeling, beach games, and towed tubing or wakesurfing (Wave runners driven by instructors only).

Each week will culminate with a surf contest, complimentary pizza party, and giveaways from Quiksilver,Roxy, and area surf shops.

Remember, the best surfer is the one having the most fun!!!

CAMP FACILITIES: Ninja Lounge is a state of the art sports and recreational facility located in the heart of North Miami. We feature several challenging and exciting attractions 10,000 square feet of trampoline space with 2 dodge ball courts, 3 basketball hoops, elevated rope courses, wall climbing, and a Tumble Trak for jumping and flipping. Ninja Lounge is also a certified Ninja Warrior training facility with obstacle courses for all ages.
